The Rafa Nadal Academy Slam is shaping up as a reunion of former world No. 1 rivals.
Andy Murray is the first participant confirmed for the Rafa Nadal Academy Slam. The three-time Grand Slam champion will captain the staff that may tackle the aspect led by Rafa Nadal on October third on the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor as a part of the Academy’s10th Anniversary celebrations.
Murray, the one man to efficiently defend the Olympic gold medal in singles, received his final ATP assembly vs. Nadal scoring a 7-5, 6-4 win within the 2016 Mutua Madrid Open semifinals. Total, Nadal leads their head-to-head sequence, 17-7.
